Burn Rubber is continuing their good relationship with New Balance with yet another collaboration. This time collaborating on the New Balance 572, the two put their creative minds to create the Burn Rubber x new balance 574 burgundy “Vernors.” The sneaker pays homage to the James Vernors’ brand of Ginger Ale dating back to the Civil War. The Burn Rubber x New Balance 572 “Vernors” is made up of an alternating shade of green throughout the suede upper including the woodgrain texturing on the sneaker’s toe box and tongue. Hits of yellow throughout add flair to the sneaker’s design while continuing the theme. Hit with white and black finishes, the sneaker is complete with a brown sole.

Releasing the same day as the Ronnie Fieg x new balance 420 black “Central Park” is this “Brooklyn Bridge” New Balance 850 that is also designed by Ronnie Fieg. This 850 is a representation of KITH’s shop location in Brooklyn and features a design that pays homage to their historical bridge. The upper features various shades of blue that symbolize the sky behind the bridge. Micorperforated nubuck and oily pigskin are the premium materials used on the upper along with a microperforated saddle leather on the heel that mimicks the limestone used to construct the bridge. Subtle branding details have been added on the lacelocks that read “NB” and the laces with KITH branding.

By now you must have heard of the two collaborations between Ronnie Fieg and New Balance that will be releasing on Black Friday. One half of this “Landmarks” Collection features the New Balance 530 while the other utilizes the new balance 420 burgundy. In anticipation of their release we want to show you some on-feet pictures of both sneakers that should seal the deal on whether or not to cop. The Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 530 “Central Park” features a burgundy oiled pigskin suede on the upper with off-white nubuck on the toe and a New York Parks and Recreation logo on the tongue. This sneaker is meant to represent Central Park during the Fall season. In the other hand we have the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 850 “Brooklyn Bridge” that sports various shades of blue on the upper that symbolize the sky behind the Brooklyn Bridge. Microperforated nubuck and oily pigskin suede take over the upper and give this shoe a luxurious look.
