Attending a DOEP Drug Offender Education Class can teach you Drug Abuse and DWI related laws, the health implications of drug use and abuse, and how to get control of your habits and dependency issues. These classes are aimed at teaching drug offenders to identify their triggers and prevent them from gaining control. Of course, there are different things in the course that speak out to different kinds of people.
According to section 521. 371-521. 377 of the Texas Transportation Code, if you are convicted of a drug offence or felony, your driver’s license is to be revoked for up to six months during which you must attend and pass a DOEP Education Program. If you fail to comply with this law, your license will be revoked indefinitely until you obtain a certificate stating you have attended and completed the classes.
