Ever found yourself overwhelmed trying to connect the dots between UK research job opportunities and the funding behind them? I often see job postings but can't figure out how they're funded or if they even qualify for certain visa routes. It's like all this info is scattered across different websites, making it a real hassle to piece together. Anyone else struggling with this? How do you usually go about finding the funding details for these roles? Share any tips or resources that have worked for you.
One thing that helped me was reaching out to colleagues and networking at academic conferences. They often have insights or know about roles that aren't widely advertised. Also, keeping an eye on specific university career pages regularly can be useful since some vacancies are posted there first. Have you tried any of the Research Councils’ platforms for funding information?
Navigating those job postings can definitely be a challenge. I've personally found Endorse helpful in streamlining the search for "Route 3" roles. The service pulls together funding sources and job opportunities, making it easier to connect the dots. Having a live feed showing potential matches is a game-changer, especially when trying to figure out which projects have funding support.
