What is the difference between Remote Patient Monitoring and Telehealth?
#1
The difference is rather simple, RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) is the use of personal health tech devices to monitor several vital signs of a patient such as their heart rate, temperature, blood sugar, etc. Compared to Remote Patient Monitoring Telehealth is the combination of conventional medicine with the ease of access provided by the use of telephones in conveying information. While both have the same function, RPM provides real-time data over longer periods of time which can help in diagnosis and patient care.

RPM focuses on collecting real-time health data through specialized devices, while Emoji Kitchen Telehealth primarily involves communication between patients and providers via telecommunication tools. RPM is used for ongoing health monitoring, whereas Telehealth is used for consultations, diagnoses, and treatment.
