While it's no surprise that 2K had a cover of this at such a late stage in the rollout, the trend of the game's design probably suggested that this would happen one day NBA 2K23 MT. However the cover wasn't really 2K's idea, it came from J. Cole's.

As someone who's apart of the development process, what's the top thing you're most excited about for NBA 2K23?Well, having Jordan as the front cover is always exciting and also working alongside him, and the assertion that makes us proud of our game: the most memorable of all time NBA2king. It really speaks volumes to what we're trying to achieve from a marketing standpoint but also what the game's potential to be.
