I have an 05 Grand Prix stock everything and wondering what electrical I’m going to need to power my skar 3500. Does anyone know how many amps it draws?м

It says in the owners manual 350 amp fuse rating.

That is before box rise comes into play. I would suggest a 250+ amp alt and a group 31 rear AGM.

I saw your post while digging around for something similar and thought I’d share what I know. Even though it’s been a while, this might help someone else in the same boat. For a 3000-watt system like the Skar 3500, you’re gonna need to upgrade your electrical setup. That amp pulls a ton of power, especially if you’re running it at lower impedance.

If you’re ever dealing with something bigger, like heavy-duty electrical setups or poles and lines, it’s worth calling in a pro. If you’re in the area, a Pole Line Contractor Ottawa can handle those bigger, more complicated jobs. Systems like these can be a lot to figure out, but once you’ve got the right setup, it’s all good.
