How to disable surveillance cameras

Photosensors

Photosensors are devices that emit a visible or infrared light beam from the light emitting element in it. A reflective photoelectric sensor is usually used to detect the reflected light beam from the target. A Thubeam sensor is used to measure the change in the amount of light. , which occurs due to the target crossing the optical axis, as a beam of light is emitted from the light-emitting element, then received by the light-receiving element, and the light sensor has 3 models, which are as follows

reflective model
This model contains the light-emitting elements and the light-receiving elements in one chamber, where the sensor receives the light that is reflected from the target.

Thrubeam model
This model contains a transmitter and a receiver separated from each other, and when the target is located between the transmitter and the receiver, the light is cut off.

reflexive model
This model includes both light-emitting and light-receiving elements in one chamber, and when the light is emitted from the emitting element to the reflector, it is reflected and returned to the light-receiving element, and when the target is present, the light is cut off.

Accordingly, light sensors are photoelectric devices that convert light energy in the form of photons, whether visible or infrared, into electrical signals in the form of electrons. These devices are classified into several types, some of which are as follows:

Light-emitting photovoltaic cells: They are optical devices that release free electrons from a light-sensitive material when they collide with a photon that has sufficient energy.

Photoconducting cells: they work by changing their resistance when exposed to light, and optical conductivity occurs through the collision of light with a semi-conductive material that controls the flow of current when it passes through it, which means that more light produces more current at a certain voltage, and the most common conductive material It is cadmium sulfide used in photovoltaic cells (LDR).

Photovoltaic cells: These cells generate power commensurate with the received radiant energy of light, as the light energy falls on two semiconductor materials, resulting in a voltage of 0.5 volts. Selenium is often used, especially in solar cells.
Photoconduction devices: These are semiconductor devices that use light to control the flow of electrons through their junction, such as the photodiode.

The photoelectric sensor is a type of switch, as it depends in its principle of operation on the presence of switches that work and stop depending on receiving or not receiving light, and these sensors are distinguished in that they detect the presence or absence of an object without direct contact, and they do not contain mechanical parts that wear out, These switches can be installed over a long distance, and these sensors have wide applications in the industry.
