MLP RPG Storyline approach alternation :)

I think I might change MLP RPG’s storyline approach from building new element to deepening existing elements from the show.

Instead of Twilight and her party clearing enemy to save the world…. Which seems like she is doing it alone with very few interaction with her friends. What should I do to add more interaction?

So far it seems the only interaction between her and her friends is friendship meter during combat and voice clips played if teammate died during combat.

Why I do this? Because I don’t want to over power Twilight. I want to make it so she leads, but not dominates.

I might need more time to consider the alternation……. Quality > Quantity….. I rather make MLP RPG into something memorable project than something I just work out of pure programming implementation.

    Well here are some ideas.

    1. Have the other characters comment on events more often. For example, maybe if you get a super rare gem, like the ruby e-92 near the merchant, Rarity will comment on it’s quality. This would be easier to do if you had more quests.

    2. You could have a skit system like in the tales games were the characters talk to each other. Here is a script for it. http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/10835-skit-system/

    3. I would say character interactions will be easier in part two because it takes place in Equestria anyway.
