Darkky Minecraft Server moving to Windows Azure VPS!

Darkky Minecraft server will be moved to Windows Azure VPS for a while. But here is the deal:

8 core CPU, supported by Microsoft team, 14GB dedicated RAM, unlimited bandwidth, the best disk read rate, top end network speed. <————————- this is any server’s dream. I am pretty sure with this set up, server can handle 300 players +.

The server cost 9000 dollars per month commercially, but it is free for me because of BizSpark membership. Anyways, it works out both for me and for you guys.

 

SQL database support for darkky minecraft is now possible, just matter of when…. I have time….. Azure provides free external database, so it is just like why not to use it.

 

On the other note: I might start hosting more server and different server later on with all of this. Gmod, CSS, TF2, etc.
